She has a UK degree with honors in Media Performance and was a Television Producer and Presenter for "Tv Persia" in Germany. Her shows have mainly concentrated on presenting the reality of struggles some are going through such as cancer patients, Contergan (thalidomide) victims, children of war in hospitals, Down Syndrome, autism, raped children, HIV patients and dangers of hypnosis.

Her main goal on television throughout her productions has always been to inform, educate and highlight serious matters which some of us either take for granted, such as our health, or drew attention to illnesses which some of us lack the knowledge of. She learnt herself through every show.

She started to write the true story novel book No Coin for Shirin in 2011 and travelled 3 times to Iran to interview the lady who´s life this book is based on to make sure all the main details of the book are correct. She had gained her trust to put her story into words.

The heart wrenching story followed with research to prepare herself understand some of the struggles which Samira was not familiar with and had to seek the help and guidance of a psychologist in order to elaborate and bring to life the feelings and true emotions of the main character.

"It has been quite a journey to put this book together and I hope this true story will raise hope to all mothers or anybody who has suffered a loss to never give up. It also highlights the strength of a determined Woman."
