No Coin for Shirin

Recognized by her thick long hair and powerful eyes that turned heads, she started her teens and lost it all within a few years. It doesn't take long for her life to take a turn when the adorable girl from north Iran is forced to leave school due to abuse and accept a marriage proposal from a young man she had only met once. Just like everybody else, this delightful girl had dreams and an imagination of the picture perfect family, until destiny turned her calm life into a hurricane of disaster. In No coin for Shirin we are introduced to challenges many of us would call a nightmare on earth, but how did she overcome them?
We grow with her, we feel love with her and we break with her as she tells us unimaginable detailed scenes from her past that she has never spoken about. We learn why giving a simple coin to her child is her only wish.
She hides her identity, but not her story, from eight decades ago.
He stared at me so intense and meaningful that it warmed me in its embrace and I was simply in the moment, smitten.

As she turned, her left eye was filled with the most filtered water and her right eye had just dropped the
most perfectly shaped teardrop I had ever seen.
